The Abu Dhabi cake picnic is the city’s first indoor cake festival-meets-social gathering. Picture this: rows of talented bakers displaying their most beautiful creations, long tables of irresistible slices, and a buzzing crowd of foodies, all inside a perfectly chilled, comfortable venue. No sunburns. No melting frosting. Just pure cake joy.

This event is scheduled for 11:00am for bakers and1:00pm for tasters on November 22, 2025 at a location to be shared two weeks to the event date.

For Bakers

Everything you need to know before bringing your masterpiece to the Cake Picnic. Clear labels, allergy safety, and simple steps to keep every slice safe, fresh, and ready to impress.

Clear Labelling

Every cake must have a visible ingredient card at the table. Mark it “Halal” if all ingredients are Halal-certified and free from alcohol or pork. If the cake is not fully Halal, label it “Non-Halal” so guests can make informed choices.

Allergy Transparency

Print a full list of potential allergens. Nuts (specify type), dairy, eggs, gluten/wheat, soy, sesame.
If your kitchen handles these ingredients, even when they’re not in the recipe, add a simple “May contain traces of …”

Handling Presentation

Transport cakes in sealed containers and keep them covered whenever possible to avoid contamination at any time. Use your own serving utensils when slicing or plating and maintain proper hygiene standards throughout the day.

Keep Items Chilled

If your creation contains cream, mousse, custard or other chilled fillings, bring an insulated box or cooler so it stays fresh and food-safe until it is finally served to guests and visitors. This way everything stays as fresh as they need to be
